Where do you get to go in Pokemon SoulSilver?

Any wi-fi CLUB room with friend code or union room. There you tell the person or lady that you want to trade and what you want to trade. Then you type in the other person's F C and the other person types in your FC. THEN you can finally trade!

to trade w/ others in the same room as you go to the union room on the top floor of the Pokemon center(any Pokemon center). they will supposedly explain the rest while youre in the union room.

If you want to do a global trade go to the global trade station(or gts for short) in golden rod city(also where you will battle Whitney-the 3rd gym leader)

You can also trade in the Wi-fi Room in the basement of the Pokemon Centers, but to do this, you will need some Friend Codes.

There will also be several characters in the game offering an in game trade.
For in game trades, you must have the Pokemon with you in your party. When the person asks you for that Pokemon, choose the desired Pokemon, and then the in game trade will take place automatically.

For other trades, go to the middle lady at the second floor of any Pokemon Center, and enter the Union Room. Talk to the other person in there, and ask for a trade. Both of you will choose one Pokemon, and you will be asked if you want to trade the two Pokemon. Select yes to begin the trade.

You get to go through the regions of Johto and Kanto which includes famous Johto places such as New Bark Town, Violet City, Azalea Town, Goldenrod City, the Whirl Islands, the Lake of Rage, Blackthorn City, Mt. Silver and Kanto places such as Pallet Town, Saffron City, Viridian City, Cerulean Cave, Seafoam Islands and Cerulean City.

You don't do anything on SoulSilver itself. On the Pokemon White game, go to the PokeTransfer lab and start the transfer. On the other DS, with SoulSilver inserted, go to Download Play from the DS main menu (not SS's main menu or in-game menu). After following the onscreen instructions, you'll be able to migrate some Pokemon.
