The house is a hotel which is locked because the only way to unlock it is via an event. you need something like a "member's pass" to get in. Once in, darkrai will appear and you will be on new moon island to catch it.

Anyway you need the member card mystery gift item and then you can open the door go to sleep to wake up on new moon island and get darkrai. you have to use AR to get the item now or use the walk anywhere code and walk right from fullmoon island.
Also,if you cant beat Cynthia you are a NOOB.
