Throughout her years as Queen of England she spoke spanish, even teaching her husband the language, never loosing her accent, though she spent only up to her early teenage years in Spain. She continued to favor people from her native country and including her spanish ladies-in-waiting over her English ones. She lived to be fifty years old but she never stoped missing Spain.
