Wonder Woman works for Uncle Sam, the only Superhero type to do so ( Green Lantern was a test pilot- but for a private company- Ferris Aircraft. Lt. Diana Prince is an intelligence officer for the U.S. Army. as such she has various beats and assignments- often, but not exclusively in the Washington , DC area. In the TV Version she was a Wave officer- Naval Intelligence. In neither was she specifically stationed at the Pentagon, though that might have been implied.
