In Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red/Blue Rescue Team, link cables are found where important items were once kept i.e. HM's, etc. For example, if you have surf, on floor 20 of Solar Cave, where Surf once was, a link cable will now be there. Important items are found in Solar Cave, Wyvern Hill, Mt. Faraway and Wish Cave.
Where is dive in Red Rescue team?
Dive is got when you see medicham at your base after beating the game. Medicham will direct you to Lombre, Lombre to Whiscash, and he will give you Dive. Don't lose it!!!! If you lose it go to solar cave. Then get to floor 10 and you need a key witch you can find after floor5-9. Then look though fl10 and you will find a door with a lock use the key and you need a Pokemon that can go over water (or its waterfall on floor 15).

Where do you catch alakazam on red rescue team?
the easier way is to catch an Abra in the solar cave make sure you have on of the HM's from that dungeon the best is on floor 20 but you need someone who can cross water as it is surrounded by water if you have that HM there will be a link cable grab it. when you leave Abra should be able to evolve then when Abra is a kadabra go back to where you evolved Abra use the link cable you got in the solar cave and hey presto you are the proud owner of an alakazam.
