The best I can say is that the main series comics (Sonic Comics) are longer (up to about 222 issues) and have a slightly complicated storyline. Sonic Universe is shorter and is just a spin-off made by the same company. In my opinion, the main series is better.

What happens to Amy Rose in the Sonic Universe comics?
She shows up later on in the Sonic Universe comics but I'm not sure as to what happens to her in the recent comics. I hope they do make a comic about Amy Rose as they do not show what happens to her. :(
What is Sonic Universe about?
Sonic Unleashed is about the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, and his newly found friend Chip, as they try to make Earth one again, as it was separated into 7 segments by the villainous Dr.Egg man. Once separated an evil force was awakened from the center of the Earth, that would bring about the planets destruction, known as Dark Gaia. Also, Chip has lost his memory, and Sonic is endeavoring to recover Chips memory. Furthermore, after the awakening of Dark Gaia, Sonic is transformed into a werehog at nigh time. The game is very fun and enjoyable. I would recommend purchasing it on the PS3 or XBOX 360, instead of the Wii or PS2. Hope I helped! :D The hedgehog day levels are cool but the werehog sucks!!!!!!!!!!
