Which is better Sonic Universe or Sonic Comic?
The best I can say is that the main series comics (Sonic Comics) are longer (up to about 222 issues) and have a slightly complicated storyline. Sonic Universe is shorter and is just a spin-off made by the same company. In my opinion, the main series is better.

Archie, continued the old series' and used Princess Sally within their own story. In short, yes, Sally is indeed a character, but she has no role within the games' storyline, and is not considered to be canon.

sonic comic is the main storyline, and universe is just a spin off continuation of it. If you are looking for which one to read, read sonic comic first, then when you reach around comic...190? I believe? Anyway, then read universe. They are practically the same thing, just under different titles.

Well, no. After Elise blew out the flames of..something...time was changed, and it was like Sonic never met her, so there was no way he would remember falling for her or spending time with her.
