How does one transfer Pokemon from heart gold to a pokewalker?
1. Turn on your DS 2. Click on your heart gold game. 3. On the menu screen click on 'connect to pokewalker' 4. It will come up with stuff you can do. 5. Choose which one you want to do and hold the pokewalker next to your game card when it says connecting to pokewalker. You should have connected by now. If it doesn't work it might be broken. Yes, you will, unless you have another Pokemon version like diamond, pearl, or heartgold. If you do, use another DS (a friend's another family member's) to trade over all the Pokemon that are important to you. Then, after you do this, restart the game.

Its a devise that can sense motion as a person walks while a Pokemon of your choice stays inside, and if you loose this devise you can go to the main page of poke-walker and get it back. But if you restart the game and a Pokemon is inside then you must restart. Me myself is still trying to figure that out. You can hold 1 Pokemon from the games Heart Gold and Soul Silver and 2 from the poke-walker. You can also get items when you walk your Pokemon, like Yellow Forest ( I don't remember what its called) but only during the first week, i think. you can catch Pokemon in this devise. You can catch kangasgon, pidgey, nidorino and nidorina, and more.

You could use action replay, or trade a snorlax from another game.
How do you restart pokeomon?
Yes, you can. You have to do it from your game. In the pokewalker's instruction manual, there is a section on how to reset it with more details. To reset it, hold down X and L on the "connect to pokewalker" screen. It will ask you if you really want to delete your data. After you choose yes, the pokewalker will return to the happy face screen it had when you first opened it. You can now set it up with a new game card, or on the same game card with a new file, or the old file, or whatever else you wan to do. Setup is the same as when you first got it, and the game will retell how to set it up again.
If you restart Pokemon Heartgold or Soulsilver do you still get to keep the routes that you unlocked on your Pokewalker?

Depends on how you see it, all you need to do is have a Pokemon in a box. So you technically have to have access to pokeballs. Other than that once you have a Pokemon in a box just save and restart the game and the third option at the main menu will be to connect to pokewalker and just follow their instructions.

You'll need to wait until you catch at least one other Pokemon, then store it in your PC. Save then restart, in the main menu go to "Connect to Pokewalker". Or turn to pg. 52 in the instruction booklet and read the part that says How to restart your pokewalker!

no you can not, it doesn't work that work that when you delete the file that has the certain Pokemon you put in the pokewalker you wouldn't be able to send to the new game. you'd have to reset the pokewalker and delete all data in it. (including the Pokemon)

Yes, you will lose your Pokéwalker routes that you got off of Wi-Fi if you start a new game on HeartGold and end up deleting the previous game save file.
