Who are the Brand Brothers?

The Brand Brothers are two artists who are working outside the art establishment. They call themselves Art-Outlaws. Like Willie and Waylon, who found the door to success blocked by the Nashville establishment, the Brand Bros. find the door to success in the arts blocked by an elitist New York art establishment whose only criteria for success in the arts is based totally on financial considerations. The Brand Brothers believe that art is about the elevation of the human soul, not about the elevation of one's bank account. To them art is not a business, it is the ability to express the human condition through personal vision and to be able to share that vision with others.
