Harry Potter is a fictional character....do you mean Daniel Radcliffe who plays him in the films? If so think they are both equally as good, though, David Tennant is a much more versatile actor as he has been part of films, TV programmes and a member of the RSC as well as performing other theatre productions. However he is also A LOT older than Daniel Radcliffe so has had more opportunites- also Daniel radcliffe is broadning his acting capabilites too- he is currently in a Broadway muscial.- Hope this helped :)
P.S-If comparing Harry Potter and The Doctor(One of David Tennants best known roles) then HP wins every time- Daniel Radcliffe is also a lot more famous :D
because he was casted that role and they wanted good British actors and actresses
