Here's another trick, be sure to have short and long range attacks too, and use them wisely when you need them. When you are battling dark rust, also make sure to look out for your health bar, other rust Pokemon and also dark rust's spin attack, ( Run when your attacks keeps missing and he keeps shaking. ) avoid it when it happens.
