Snivy. I started of with him and he's never failed me. Oshawott misses a lot for my friend who started and pretty much everyone that i know whose partnered up with him/her. Snivy has better moves, more chance of K.Os, but Oshawott evolves quicker. Snivy's way cooler and reliable. Plus I got all the legendarys with just him!

∙ 11y agoThat all depends. Statwise, oshawatt is stronger. But movesets, items, and trainer experiences can make all the difference.

The starter Pokemon in Pokemon Black and White are: 1) Snivy 2) Tepig 3) Oshawott I would recommend Snivy because it's fast, it's awesome and it's final evolution (Serperior) is just sick. Don't get Tepig, because it is a rip-off gens III and IV, both of them having starter Pokemon that get Fire-Fighting. And having a double type means you have more weaknesses. I would recommend Oshawott if you like Water type Pokemon. But it's your choice. Your game.

A lot of the Pokemon that you can catch in the games usually take time to evolve (which can be a pain sometimes, trust me, I also have Pokemon black) depending on the Pokemon you are able to encounter, so that be a hard one I recommend you look for rustling grass, look in places farther in the game and choose wisely which starter you choose, for example: Snivy is so cool looking XD, but has a lot more weaknesses than Oshawott and Tepig, Oshawott is cute and only has two weaknesses....i think >.< and Tepig has 3 or 4 weaknesses.... im not sure about Tepig that much Im not an expert on Pokemon thats for sure, hope this helps.
