The old book shop keeper. But I forgot the name.
In the Titans Curse, the manticore(Dr.Thorn), the nemean lion, and warrior skeleton things chase him.

There is not an 8th Alex Rider book! There is only: Stormbreaker (book 1) Point Blanc (book 2) Skeleton Key (book 3) Eagle Strike (book 4) Scorpia (book 5) Ark Angel (book 6) Snakehead (book 7) Alex Rider: Mission Files Alex Rider: Gadgets
Christian Keyes, Pleasure P Etc..
Alex goes undercover as the son of two American CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) agents. Basically, he's mad cause the two agents are lying to him about the real reason they're on the island and he's mad at MI6 for loaning him out to another agency. Anyways, some things happen and take a turn for the worse and Alex saves the day again. It was a really good book. One of my favorites of the series. (Other Person): This is not the theme of the story (at least what I have learned as theme). The theme is something like any adventure or mission can be completed with courage and determination. The theme really is supposed to be in someone's own words and thoughts, but this is what I believe it is. Just letting whoever wrote that answer up there know that what they put isn't exactly what I would define as the theme of the story.
In the Sammy Keyes series, the skeleton man is actually Sammy's mother's ex-boyfriend, Chester. He had faked his own death in order to escape from his criminal past and start a new life.
