Celebrimbor, the son of Curufin and the grandson of Fëanor. He was the lord of Eregion and founder of the Gwaith-i-Mírdain, a renowned guild of elven jewel-smiths.

With the help of Sauron in the guise of Annatar, Celebrimbor and the Gwaith-i-Mírdain forged the Nine and the Seven rings of power. Celebrimbor secretly made the Three Rings by himself, and they were his greatest work. He died after great torture at the hands of Sauron around the middle of the Second Age.

What does Bilbo find on the floor?

The One Ring - the ring made covertly by Sauron to rule all the Rings of Power.

Why do they want to destroy the ring in the Lord of the Rings?

The ring was made by Sauron, and when it was made, He put some of his power into it. Sauron was an Maia. Meaning he was one of first people on Arda, part of the Valar. The ring bears some of his life force, and whilst the ring is intact, sauron cannot be killed. The reason they have to travel to Mt. Doom to destroy the ring is because it was forged there and no other thing on arda can damage it Hope this helped

Can the diamond in a ring be changed?

Diamonds are seldom permanently mounted, as this could damage their value. To change the diamond or the ring, go to any jeweler who makes custom-made jewelry.

In The Lord of the Rings what adorns the ring that Aragorn wears?

The Ring of Barahir is made of two silver snakes with green jewels for eyes and a golden crown of flowers. But as Aragorn is not mentioned wearing it during The Lord of the Rings, as it is presumably the ring he gave to Arwen on their betrothal about forty years earlier, I guess you mean Peter Jackson's movies. There the ring is also made up of two silver snakes, but it carries one big green jewel instead.

In the Lord of the Rings what did Gollum call the ring?

Gollum, originally known as Smeagol, referred to the One Ring as "precious" and "my precious." It made him live much longer than his natural limits and he was constantly torn between his obsession with the ring and his hatred for it.
