when marvel came it almost put dc out of business but dc is just better and more classical. Also super man could beat Thor and hulk maybe not kill them but beat them. Same with bat man he could probably beat the Black Panther. Same thing with flash he is faster than quick silver. Also green arrow and hawk eye it would probably be a draw.
Marvel of course. Marvel is better becuase they have characters set in real iconic cities. DC has all these science-fiction characters which would be hard to believe would exist in real life, the only two characyers I really liked was SUPERMAN and BATMAN. I used to think DC was the best but now I think Marvel is better since seeing the Avengers. They also have a new Avegrs movie in 2012.
It depends on the writer.
Superman's strength towards the end of the Silver Age was effectively limitless; he's been depicted several times pushing planets around. Very few Marvel or other DC characters are in that category. A sufficiently strong-willed Green Lantern Corps member (or one of the Guardians of the Universe) could probably do it; the Guardians collectively HAVE done so (they moved Oa), and of course there's the Green Lantern Mogo, who IS a planet, and is capable of moving himself. The Spectre at the height of his powers probably could but I can't recall any examples of him doing so. Galactus, who eats planets, would seem to need to be able to do so. Other Kryptonians (e.g. General Zod) and Daxxamites (an offshoot of the Kryptonian race, with the most well-known example being Mon-El) should be in that ballpark as well when under the influence of a yellow sun. Doomsday (who was eventually revealed to be Kryptonian in origin) and Superman fought each other to a dead (pun intended) standstill. Once when Superman was sufficiently peeved, he kicked the tar out of Darkseid, a literal god, and then imprisoned him in a place Darkseid couldn't escape from (but Superman, when he changed his mind, was able to pull him back out again). The go-to strategy for writers that want to introduce suspense ("can Superman win this time?") into a story is to have his opponent cheat somehow (using kryptonite, or magic, or "red solar radiation" to weaken Superman and level the playing field).
But of major DC or Marvel characters? In a "fair fight" between any of them and Superman, my money would be on Supes.
If you were paying close attention, you'll have noticed that most of the examples of people that were probably in Superman's ballpark were DC. There are two reasons for that: 1. I never cared for Marvel's "soap Opera plots" much and don't know as much about fringe characters in that universe and 2. It's generally acknowledged that the typical power level of characters in the Marvel universe is FAR below that of the DC universe.
Well my fav is spongebob but thats just me!
DC
marvel and dc still do make comics
The Fantastic 4 are Marvel and in 2019 Kevin Feige announced that a Fantastic Film will be in the MCU (Marvel Comics Universe)
Ultra Violet isn't DC or Marvel she's Screen Gems
Captain Marvel is better then Super man because superman is weak to magic and captain marvel's powers are magic. So captain marvel can school Superman any day!
Beyonder Is the strongest marvel character
In Marvel, the strongest superhero is often considered to be the Hulk due to his limitless strength and regenerative abilities. On the DC side, characters like Superman or the Green Lantern are commonly seen as the most powerful due to their array of abilities such as super strength, flight, and energy projection. Ultimately, the strongest superhero may vary depending on the storyline and context.
If you ask me the strongest super hero (strong, not intelligent) would probably be... DC comics: Superman... Marvel: Thulk... (The thulk was in a what if comic when a nuclear mishap mixed both The Thing, and the Hulk together). The strongest would be Galactus, he eats planets! There is also a hero called Antman, he's small but strong.i think that marvel comics the hulk and dc comics green lantern
DC and Marvel have a superhero named Captain Marvel, but DC's Captain Marvel is more popular (The character with the white cape and is red with a lightning bolt on his chest)
Here are a few and the comics where they appear:Aquaman (DC)Atom or Al Pratt (DC)Angel (Marvel)Armor (Marvel)Aurora (Marvel)Adam Strange (DC)Abner "Abe" Jenkins (Marvel)Amanda "The Wall" Waller (DC)Animal Man (DC)Alex Power (Marvel)Adam Warlock (Marvel)Abigail Brand (Marvel)Arisia (DC)Ant Man (Marvel)

DC Comics has been around longer than Marvel Comics. DC was founded in 1934 while Marvel was founded in 1939.
I think Galactus is the strongest of all.
