Foxface was the only character that katniss said she would not trust but all the others are obviously not trusted either. Thresh was half way trusted and peeta was not trusted in the beginning since he was with the careers. Later he was fully trusted by katniss and later loved by her too!

What purpose foes the burn cream and bread serve Katniss and Peeta?

The burn cream and the bread are very valuable to Katniss and Peeta and serve a great purpose for them in the Hunger Games. When Katniss burns her leg severely in the sudden fire attack by the Gamemakers, she is in great need of that burn cream. So, when Haymitch sends it to her through the parachute, Katniss is very thankful and is able to heal her leg. It's quite obvious what purpose the bread serves for Katniss and Peeta. There are obviously not alot of food sources around (thanks to the Gamemakers) unless you snatched something from the Cornucopia when the Games began. Katniss and Peeta were obviously starving, so the bread helped to ease their hunger for a little while.

Why does Katniss must chang her behavior from the time she is chosen at the reaping?

Katniss is one of the few tributes who were able to pair up with their district's partner. She was also the first female victor from District 12, and won her games along with another tribute. She was involved in the first romantic relationship Panem had ever seen on the Hunger Games. Katniss is known as 'The Girl on Fire' because of what she wore on the chariot-ride and her interview. This made her stand out from the past tributes from District 12.

What is the significance of the following statement But the Hunger Games are their weapon and you are not supposed to be able to defeat it?

It means that the Capitol uses the Hunger Games as a scare tactic against the Districts and when it was designed it was believed to be foolproof. When Katniss outsmarted the Games she effectively defeated this tactic.

Was Katniss unable to steal the bow and arrow from the district 8 boy?

In the Hunger Games Katniss does not go and get the bow for a two main reasons. Number one is that by the time she would have gone after it the careers would have already of been there, and secondly Haymitch told her the first thing to do was put distance between her and the others, if she wanted to stay alive.

What happens in Hunger Games book 2?

Actually, no one wins the 75th hunger games because on one thing we're sure of is that Finnick and Katniss were rescued by Haymitch during the Games. And Peeta was definitely captured by the Capitol during the Games.
