Mork was actually a character introduced in a Happy Days episode - the stand-alone Mork & Mindy program starring Robin Williams and Pam Dawber debuted around 1978, I believe. The best episodes were the latter ones where Jonathan Winters played their son, "Mearth".
Mindy had been mentioned a couple of times on the show but only made an appearance in two episodes. The first episode, Season 1, Episode 20, The One With the Evil Orthodontist, she is played by Jennifer Grey. In her last appearance, Season 2, Episode 24, The One With Barry and Mindy's Wedding, she is played by Jana Marie Hupp.
