No actually, it was because Orlando Bloom(Will Turner)read the script and thought it was rubbish so he didn't go into it.

∙ 13y agoThey won't be returning because their story is complete. William Turner (played by Orlando Bloom) is the captain of a ship that can only surface every ten years and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) is raising a child. Neither of them can join Jack Sparrow on his quests.
