The guards at Azkaban were the dementors, but they betrayed the wizards and sided with Voldemort. The dementors didnt actually side with Voldermort per say, in the books it states that they do not follow anybody but if voldermort gives them free reign then the demetors would be more inclined to do their bidding until anouther person offers them more.in short the dementors don't side with anybody. It's spelled "guards" and Dementors.
Rowling doesn't confirm this, so chances are, it doesn't matter. The only point of their departure was to get rid of them, because they no longer had a purpose. For those empty spaces in the Harry Potter galaxy, you can usually come up with your own answers. Use your imagination. Do you want the Dursleys to meet their quite deserved end? Still, they are probably safe. Voldemort would only have wanted to go after them if Harry was still in their custody. Once with the Order, I bet they'd be safe. After the war, I can imagine them going back to Privet Drive, muttering angrily about badly made drills. Who knows? Maybe their memories were erased. "Obliviate!" and they'd be a lot happier. Rowling did confirm this in an interview. Sadly, I dont remember which one, because I've read a lot of them. She said Harry, Ginny and their kids get an ugly vase for Christmas each year from Petunia and Harry visits very rarely. When they do visit, the kids (Harry's) hate it. When I find out which interview it was, I'll update.
After all the Horcruxes were destroyed Harry and Voldemort fought in the Great Hall, Harry attempted to Disarm Voldemort, and Voldemort attempted to kill Harry. The two spells collided with a bang like a cannon blast. The Elder Wand, however, refused to harm its true master and flipped over, flying high toward its master. The rebounding Killing Curse hit Lord Voldemort, and his lifeless body hit the floor, the white hands empty, dead. In other words he died.

In the first book, The Sorcerer's Stone, Harry and Hagrid visit Gringotts to get Harry some money and there they also empty the vault with the stone. Shortly after they empty the vault, there was an attempted theft of the stone.

On harry potter 6, in the astronomy tower, find the lever (ask nick if you can't find it), then use Wingardium Leviosa to move it to the exit. Throw it against the exit door thing (don't know what it's called). Then cast Wingardium Leviosa again to move it out of the astronomy tower. Cast reparo to repair it, then levitate it to the empty slot.
