Because Harry was the true master of the Elder Wand. When Voldemort uses the Avada Kedavra curse on Harry it partially rebounds because the Elder Wand would not hurt its master. This leaves Harry with a choice. If Harry had decided to die and not to return, then Voldemort in that body would have also died.... leaving only the horcrux inside Nagini, (Voldemorts snake) tieing Voldemort to earth. But Harry did choose to return meaning that the horcrux inside Harry died, but he and Voldemort did not. Voldemort collaped because for a split second he was in limbo, being that Harry was making the decision to let the curse kill him/them or not. Also it was Harrys choice because he was ( again:) ) the master of the Elder Wand. I hope that helps you! :D

Harry was in the forest, and Voldemort said the killing curse. However, that didn't kill Harry, it only killed the bit of Harry's soul that Voldemort accidentally created when he murdered his parents. That bit gave him the ability to talk in Parseltongue, but he lost it when that bit of him died.

Draco disarmed Dumbledore before Snape killed him. This meant that Draco defeated The Dumbledore and therefore Draco won possession of the Elder Wand. The Wand however buried with Dumbledore until Voldemort took it out of his grave.

Later that year, Harry overpowered Draco who was still the rightful owner of the wand. And since Harry overpowered him it made Harry the rightful owner of The Elder Wand because he beat his previous master. It was Draco who disarmed Dumbledore in the Astronomy Tower. Now Harry was the master of two of the three Deathly Hallows:- The Cloak And The Elder Wand. Before his death Dumbledore took the snitch that Harry caught in first Quidditch match and put the resurrection sone inside of it. He then put it in his will to Harry but Harry got it. He saw a message on it that said "I OPEN AT THE CLOSE ." Right before Harry was going to let himself die, he realized what the message meant. He spoke the word "I AM READY TO DIE" and the snitch opened to reveal the resurrection stone. Harry was now possession of all three Deathly Hallows making him he master of death. There's a theory, that Harry didn't die because he was in possession of Deatly Hallows.

Another Theory Suggest that It's because of the protection that his mother gave him when she sacrified herself to save Harry when he was a baby. The enchanment was supposed to work until he turned seventeen. And because Voldemort used Harry's blood to come back in Goblet Of Fire. So Voldemort puts Harry's blood on his own body, the protection lives on inside the Voldemort continuing Lily's (Harry's Mother) protection for Harry. That's why he didn't die.

Another cool theory centered around the Deathly Hallows is that Voldemort, Snape And Harry are the representation of three brothers. Voldemort died for power like Antioch, Snape died for love like Cadmus and Harry greated Death like his old friend like Ignotus. In the end, Harry was the true master of Elder Wand which Voldemort was still using. The wand backfired him because it refused to kill it's master at the time but ultimately let to Voldemort's downfall and Harry and Voldemort final fight ended.

Voldemort used Harry's blood to come back to life, so when Voldemort cast Avada Kedavra all he did was destroy the bit of his own soul that was trapped in Harry's.
