J.K. Rowling did not choose the cast of Harry Potter, that was the casting director's job. When Daniel Radcliffe was cast only Rowling herself knew the importance of the green eyes and they did plan to make Radcliffe wear contacts.

Rowling stated that it didn't really matter what colour his eyes were, so long as his mother had the same eyes.

How did J.K. Rowling advertise Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone?

J.K. Rowling was not responsible for advertising either the book or the movie. The book was published by Bloomsbury Publishing who handled the marketing. The original print run consisted of 500 copies, 100 of which were sent to libraries across the UK. The book wasn't heavily marketed, as it wasn't expected to perform well. The popularity grew mostly through word of mouth. The movie was produced by Warner Brothers and was advertised much like any other movie, through trailers, posters, interviews and movie premiers. By this point, the first four books had been released and the series was gaining in popularity, which helped promotion of the movie.

How much nudity is in the movie 'X-men First Class'?

The Internet Movie Database rated the level of nudity in this movie a 5 stars out of 10. The basis for this rating heavily sets on Mystique's natural form in this movie. Her natural form is blue and covered in scales while naked, with the genitalia not being shown, emphasized or defined. This rating also includes the scenes of several women in lingerie and one woman in lingerie later in the movie sitting on a man's lap with him groping her, though this is noted as having no nudity and being more sexual in nature. There is no blatant genitalia seen in this movie, and most of the "nudity" refers heavily to a lot of leg, arm, and stomach skin showing as opposed to something more offensive in nature. If you are asking as a parent, I would be more concerned with the amount of violence in the movie than the level of nudity. I would also recommend viewing it yourself first, to be sure you are willing to let your child see it.

Who influenced J.K Rowling?

Sean Harris influenced JK Rowling to write. He was Ms. Rowling's friend while she was in her secondary school. He is, according to Rowling, very like Ron Weasley in Harry Potter. He was not her only influence. She was always passionate about books, probably because of her mother and father, who were both prolific readers. She wrote from a very early age, including one particular story about a rabbit called Rabbit. Her past experiences influenced her greatly. She had depression after her mother died, which had an impact on the way she thought about death. This features heavily in the Harry Potter series. CS Lewis ("simply a genius"), TH White.
