Heretics are heretics because they have the courage to hold to their convictions, whether the convictions prove to be well-founded or not. People burn them not in service to the truth, but for the preservation of the prevailing order, whether the prevailing order is good or not.

But mary the first burned protestant heretics because england shoul have stayed catholic and Mary the first was trying to keep it that way so in order to keep the protestant from spreading there "faith" she gave them a choice if they were to stay in england they had to convert or they must keep there religion in there home and not spread there "religion to anyonr unfortunately queen elizabeth completly demolished the catholic faith in england and killed many nuns and priests burnt convents and monasteries it is said that there was a priest that hid in a cave and the people would have to walk up a cold stream to go to mass. BUT the main reason that Mary the first put to death the protestants was for the greater glory of god and the preservation of the most holy Catholic church.
