Hi! I think the reason why the two houses are so close is because the founder of Ravenclaw and the founder of Slytherin, were in love.
The sorting hat saw Slytherin qualities in him.
There isn't much difference between the houses: Gryffindors are brave, bold, and daring and aren't really all brawn and no brains just look at Hermione. Though a Gryffindor can be a bit of a show-off or bragger and might be choosey, like a Slytherin, at who might just be better than the other, but they are still loyal and stick up for each other. Hufflepuffs are trustworthy, loyal, just kind, fair and have too many myths going around about them. First it is not true that they are not the cleverest of the bunch or the weakest. They don't like to shoot their mouths off and shouldn't be messed with. Though it is true that they aren't the best Quidditch players or aren't always the cleverest but they still are the friendliest. They are one house that doesn't always judge Ravenclaws are clever, witty, resourceful, creative, wise, and intelligent but too many are considered odd balls. Yeah Ravenclaw might produce an eccentrics from here to there but they aren't as judge-y as a Gryffindor or Slytherin. Some (even Ravenclaws) think that most if not all outstanding achievers come from Ravenclaw. Although many do there are many who come from Hufflepuff and Slytherin too. Slytherins are cunning, clever, maybe even wise. Not all Slytherins are bad every house has contributed to their fair share of death eaters and you don't have to come from a long line of magical folk just to be in Slytherin. They do play to win which may not always be fair and they may brag. Even though you think that every Slytherin may be shallow or run away from their problems they can also hold their ground and stick up for each other. As you can see Gryffindors and Slytherins can both be choosy with the elite or even who's in their house. Slytherins and Ravenclaws can both be clever so even a Claw can come up with a cheat. Claws and Puffs don't really judge. Gryffindors and Slytherins can both be braggers or show-offs. All the houses can be misunderstood and have all produced a rotten egg from time to time. Don't let a few differences get in the way try to find things in common with other people it's better that way. See the houses aren't so different after all.
Jennette Mccurdy wrote so close for her boyfriend then Nathan.
Well they are brother and sister! Who would ask such a dumb question. That would insult bot Leland and Lyssa. Whoever you are you think way wrong. I have a brother and love him very much so in that way your sort of insulting everyone who has brother. So anyway they are just brother and sister and are very close but not in that disgusting way!

I think you are referring to a "Megalopolis"
Book characters can become old friends to readers.Book authors can seem so close to ourselves that they feel like friends.
A group of cities that have grown so close together they seem to form one city is known as a megalopolis. This term is used to describe a continuous urban region comprised of multiple interconnected cities and suburbs. Megalopolises often have blurred boundaries and share infrastructure and services.
Pansy Parkinson was a Slytherin. If you recall, just before the battle begins, Voldemort speaks to the castle and says that they have one hour to get Harry to him and if they do not, then the battle will commence. The Slytherins, being Slytherins, want to hand him over and not take part in battle - they don't want to die. So, Pansy Parkinson says "He's there! Somebody grab him!"
The moon seems big to people because of how close it is next to Earth and would also seem like it is small when it is further away.
A conurbation is a group of cities so close together that they appear to function as a single urban area. Examples include the Randstad in the Netherlands and the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in the United States.
You don't need to speak with Draco. Get your invisibility cloak and follow the group of Slytherins to the dungeon on the bottom floor of the grand stairwell. They will end up saying the password.

because it is so incredibly hot we think that it is nearer as we don't always realise that we can feel such a lot of heat (or brightness) from something that is so far away - for example at home we need to be in the same room as a radiator to feel the heat from it
