To impress the gods. Grover said so in the book
Percy wanted to impress the gods; especially his father Poseidon, although, at the time, Percy claimed he didn't care about him.

because 600 floors is very tall, so tall in fact you can't see the top................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................And that Mount Olympus is a major thing. It's an immortal place.
The Last Olympian was the last Percy Jackson book in the series, and is the last book from Percy's point of view, but he will still be a character in The Lost Hero (Heros of Olympus), which is told from third person... Well, at least, that's what I think. But the next book in the Heros of Olympus series which is going to be The Son of Neptune (I think), there will probably be more of Percy than Jason... But correct me if I'm wrong because I didn't read TLH yet ;)

At the end, when Hercules becomes a god and goes to Mount Olympus, Aphrodite is the one who gives Phil a kiss.

I think Rick Riordan concluded the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. I don't think a book six will be coming out. Percy's story is continued in the Heroes of Olympus series with the book, The Lost Hero.
Yes. Hades was born in Ancient Greece, on Mount Olympus (Athens, I think....)
