ok, ash started with pikachu. On the charmander. Charmander decided to join ash cause it's trainer abdoned it cause he though his charmander was weak. charmander gets sick cause it's flame was dying out. in the end charmander joined him.
Bulbasaur.- was all selfish to nurse joy or something and ash taught it not to be as stubborn. in the end when there leaving chikorita didn't want ash and his friends to leave
squirtle- there was a squirtle thing about there was a group of squirtles were being jokers. Ash battled the leader of the squirtle and in the end squirtle got a bond between them and ya ash got to keep squirtle
