Well, no. After Elise blew out the flames of..something...time was changed, and it was like Sonic never met her, so there was no way he would remember falling for her or spending time with her. I don't think he loved her in the first place, but that's just my opinion. It seemed like she loved him. Sonic loves Amy

His best friend, it seems, appears to be blaze the cat who has saved his life more than once, and who has been a loyal companion throughout the sonic games. Until later on, we won't know.
