In a very real sense, Tarzan swings through the same warped net of the time-honored ( but have you ever met one?) idea of the Noble Savage which dates to French writers such as Voltaire. Came along Charles Darwin and evolution, abandoned child- of Noble Birth, adopted and raised by apes. they are pushing the red line here! obviously Burroughs was familiar with evolution and in effect worked a novel around it- there was, of course the famous Monkey Trial ( Scopes) in the twenties. Tarzan originally made the print scene in l9l2, better known for the Titanic disaster, and more positively the introduction of the Speed Graphic camera
In "Tarzan and His Mate" (1934), there was an underwater nude scene of Maureen O'Sullivan's double (a professional swimmer). That had to be excised before theaters would show it. After Ted Turner bought the MGM library in the 1990's, he had the scene restored.
Tarzan is often classed as science-fiction, as it was on the shelves of Pritchard"s book store. The science involved is, obviously evolution, a child being adopted and reared by apes, well, that"s obviously bad, There was a very real Monkey Trial in the twenties that involved a Biology teacher who used Darwin in the classroom. By the way Tarzan has been knowing the Ropes for a full century- First Tarzan novel came out in l9l2.
There's some racism in the Tarzan books.

They wouldn't be censored if their creators wanted them not to be. If the creator wanted it to be censored he/she wouldn't bother putting it into a game.
