Why wasn't Sideswipe' twin Sunstreaker in the second or third movie of Transformers?

The models and new cars were already selected, they just needed names for the Stingray, motorcycles, and whatever car Sideways was. Sideswipe was picked so Sideswipe the Stingray became with no real knowledge of who the character was. Sideways was picked too.
