On the blurb of the first diary of a wimpy kid Greg narrates the story and says,Greg: Let me get something straight: This is a JOURNAL, not a diary. This was Mom's idea, not mine. But if she thinks I'm going to write down my "Feelings" in here or whatever, she's crazy. The only reason I agreed to do this at all is because I figure later on when I'm rich and famous, this book is gonna come in handy. But for now I'm stuck in middle school with a bunch of morons.About the movie of diary of a wimpy kid.Greg is in school and is very wimpy. Vlad Sachek Warren Prescott School Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days Mrs. Pennucci "I wasn't really scared until the end- that's when the twist came. The muddy hand had strangled its last victim and it crawled toward the screen, and it went blank. At first I didn't get it but then I realized who was going to be the last victim- Me". The book Diary of a wimpy kid- Dog days is by the author Jeff Kinney. It is about a boy named Greg who does many mischievous things while trying to enjoy his summer vacation. Greg likes to spend his summer vacation with the shades drawn down, playing video games. Unfortunately for Greg, his mom wants him to be outside playing around, but Greg is an "Indoor person". He then tries many ways to avoid this, like going to the town pool or going to Quiet Cove with his friend, Rowley. At the end, Greg's summer ends and he ends up finding his mom's album of the "Best Summer Ever", which then he realizes summer is over. That is what the book was about. I liked and disliked this book in many ways. The first way I liked it is because it was really funny and had plenty of details of events, like when Greg had his birthday party and how it turned upside-down .Then another reason I liked this book is how it was written- It was well organized and had dates at the top so you knew what and when you are reading. There was one thing I didn't like though- I didn't like how it ended- With an album of unauthorized details of what happened during the summer, a work of Greg's mom. That is what I liked and disliked in this book. My favorite part of the book was when Greg camped out in front of the video game store with Rowley. They waited for the store to open and then enter a contest. When the store finally opened, they went and entered the contest. Greg and Rowley played each other, and Rowley won because Greg smashed his thumb before the game. He had the choice to go to the championships, or get a giant box of chocolate-covered raisins. And the dumb part was that he chooses the raisins. That was my favorite part of the book. I would have recommended this book for many reasons. The first reason is that the book was really funny, but maybe a little inappropriate to little kids. Then it was a simple read, yet very interesting unlike Harry Potter. It is even written so well that many people, including me, look forward to the 5th book in the series. That is why I like this book and recommend it to many people.

"Writing in a diary is a really weird experience. If you're going to be honest, you may as well be honest all the way."

A person can be rich and famous at the age of thirteen. They can either be born into a rich and famous family or they can do something that makes them famous. People like Justin Bieber became rich and famous at a young age because of their talents.
