No, their parents are dead.
Another person..no, but theire father is alive, and he is looking for them...
No, he's dead. Or assumed to be dead. There is nothing to suggest that he's alive. In The Hostile Hospital, it was revealed that there is a surivivor of the fires. In The Slippery Slope it was revealed that that survivor was Quigley Quagmire. Therefore Bertrand has to be dead.
Another person: Actually in "A Series of Unfortunate Events" Book either 9-13
The Baudelaire orphans eventually find there father!
Another person: Actully the parents did die. The Baudlaires never find their parents. They were perished in the fire. The truly haunting secret was what was said above. There father was not alive, the people that were actully alive was that when their mother, who is beatrice was young she had a love, Lemony, and he had 2 brothers kit and jaquees. Soonly they broke up but kept in contact. when the baudlaires went on there mission to ecscape and blah blah kit looked after them for a bit. The Survivor of the fire was Quiqley.
If you read the rest of the series you realize that the Baudelaire's never do find their parents. I believe they trully are dead; someone has told them otherwise though. Hopefully yes they find them in some point of their life. In the actual story though; no they do not discover the presence of their parents.
no not really they only found there dad
No. The baudelaire orphans are fictatious and so is Lemony Snicket. The writer's real name is Daniel Handler.
they live in England
They cannot be real even though Lemony Snicket says so. If you look up the Baudelaire Orphans it will say fictional characters.

Lemony Snicket wrote about 2 children called Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire. The Baudelaire's were somehow related to Lemony Snicket and Lemony Snicket was right behind the Baudelaire orphans in every place they went. The Baudelaire orphans, they parents. Count Olaf, Lemony Snicket and every single character in a series of unfortunate events are/were real.

yes there were orphans alive there are proves how now this another question .
Mr. Poe informs the Baudelaire children that their parents have perished in a fire that destroyed their home. He then shares that they are now orphans and will need to be placed under the care of a guardian.
The Baudelaire orphans stayed in a small room at Mr. Poe's house in the city. The room was minimalistic and contained only the essentials. Throughout the series, the orphans find themselves in various accommodations as they move from one guardian to the next.
Yes, the Baudelaire orphans should be alive. Based on all the facts known, they are alive. =*)
