One assumes you are speaking of Her Imperial Highness, Anastasia Nicolaievna, The fourth daughter of Czar Nicholas II. Several films have been done on the elusive and fascinating Grand Duchess, one as far back as l928 (Clothes make the woman), in More modern times there was the l956 Bergman-Brynner film which netted Miss Bergman Best Actress honors. In l997 Fox produced the cartoon film. There have been other foreign language films and TV-movies such as that starring Amy Irving.More dramatic films and plays have been done on Anastasia than, say her remotely analogous U.S. Counterpart-of Electra Project fame. By the way Both ladies were five foot nine inches, had red hair, and blue eyes. Queen Marie of Romania knew both! at different times in history (she died l938)

No, but Paris does figure in the plot- far more than St.Petersburg or Moscow. one of the songs even goes- Paris is the key. a contest held by the producers of the film offered a free flight to Paris as a grand prize- in l997. Manhattan does NOt figure in the film but in some early pre-production posters there is a Manhattan skyscraper ( pre Empire state- as this would be in l922 the Diaspora)- Empire state was not completed until l93l.) this was later seen as inappropropriate and replaced with an image of the Eiffel Tower- a tale of Two skyscrapers. Eiffel- and Paris, did figure in the plot of the l997 Fox film (Anastasia).
