It matters on what level your Pokemon are, but I would say Meganium (lv. 32) or (If you have Platinum and a siblings DS) Staraptor (lv. 39), or maybe Ho-oh. The cool thing is, you can breed all Pokemon with Ditto, if it has the male or female symbol. If you start with the Pokemon from Professer Elm, they are all male. Isn't that funny? I have 1 Meganium and 6 Bayleefs. (I'm working up to 7 Meganiums). So try using your first pokemon, because they have some pretty cool moves. My friends' best Pokemons are their first one. (Including mine!)

well my team is gengar moves: toxic, sludge bomb, shadow ball, and shadow punch snorlax moves: body slam, fire blast, crunch, and brick break charizard moves: flamethrower, blast burn, fly, and earthqauke tyranitar moves: hyper beam, stone edge, earthqauke, dark pulse salemence moves: dragon claw, crunch, draceo meteor, hyper beam feraligator moves: surf, superpower, hydro pump, hyper beam I think the best team is if you chose piplup for your starters empoleon luxray garchomp roserade staraptor rapidash if chose chimchar for you starters infernape luxray garchomp roserade staraptor flouzel if you chose turtwig as you starters torterra luxray garchomp rapidash staraptor flouzel I hope this helps you on you journey.

Adding either Jelteon Glaceon or Umbreaon to your team on Pokemon black would work well with Lucario Azumarill, and Arcanine Serperior. Getting a Zoaroak would also be good, all the Pokemon have pros and cons to using them.

Too many Dragon and ground types. A balanced team: Nidoking, Milotic, Tyranitar, Espeon, Glaceon, Lucario. Nidoking, Tyranitar, and Espeon can learn good TM attacks. T-Tar can learn Fire blast, thunder and a bunch of others. Lapras actually works better than Milotic though. You can also switch out the Lucario for Dialga. My team, Ludicolo Gyrados, Houndoom Tyranitar Mamoswine and Metagross, check out my Pokemon teams for more combanations Milotic, Tyranitar, Lucario, Dragonite, Heatran and Cresselia is an o.k team my team is Empoleon, Heatran, Garchomp, Luxray and LuCARIO

Why does everyone use ampharos in BorW 2?
Same reason as why everyone uses Arcanine and Lucario. Unoriginality and a lust for boring Pokémon.
