The strongest monster in all of Yu-Gi-Oh is Exodia. If you manage to gather all 5 pieces, he's unstoppable. (In a real duel, holding all of the Exodia pieces allows you to declare an automatic victory.)
The strongest monster cards in the game are the Egyptian god cards: Obelisk the tormentor, Slifer the sky dragon and The winged dragon of Ra. They are all really strong and not affected by effects of spells, traps or monster cards. However, these cards are not legal to use in tournaments.
When you fuse the god cards together, you form The Creator God of Light, Horakhty. He has infinite attack and defense, and is not affected by any other card effects. He is probably the strongest card in Duel Monsters. Along with Exodia.
The BLACK LUSTER SOLDIER - ENVOY OF THE BEGINNING and CHAOS EMPEROR DRAGON - ENVOY OF THE END are the most powerful cards. That's why they banned them in the first place.
I for one think that the most powerful card in the game is your opponents best card then use brain control a change of heart and those cards and then win with your opponents best card in his eyes. (p.s. The best monster card the most powerful card in your eyes

∙ 11y agoshooting quasar dragon. because it is a level 12 monster and the evolution of the original stardust dragon. its total number of attack is the number of non tuner sychro monster used as its synchro material and once per turn when a card effect is activated this card can negate its effect and destroy it and if this card leaves the field you can special summon 1 shooting star dragon.

To be honest we all have our own views. There is now four yugiohs altogether: yugioh, yugioh gx, yugioh 5d's and yugioh zexal. I think yugioh 5d's is better than all of them but I only think this because I haven't watched zexal and I did enjoy the other two. :) but you decide... hope this helped :)
