YES! of course if not they will die
Chlorophyll is the green pigment. There is a chlorophyll a and chlorophyll b that are found in green plants. The only difference between Chlorophyll a and b is in its structure. Chlorophyll a has a -CH3 group and b has a -CHO group instead. Also, Chlorophyll is anchored to thylakoid membranes located inside a chloroplast."Chlorophyll" is the green pigment that stores sun energy while the process is called "Photosynthesis"The green pigment that traps light energy from the sun is known as chlorophyll. It is found in plant cells and it uses this trapped energy in the process of photosynthesis.
THE THREE ESENTIAL THINGS NEEDED BY PLANTS FOR PHOTOSYNTHESIS ARE SUNLIGHT, CHLOROPHYLL AND CARBON DIOXIDE. IF ONE OF THE THREE FACTORS IS ABSENT PHOTOSYNTHESIS CANNOT TAKE PLACE(it is also known as black mans principle).
The plants obtain the reactants through green color pigments that attract light through chloroplasts. The energy from the sunlight is turned into food through out a complicated process. Or it can be used as energy. The food might be sugars on the leaves leaving available for caterpillars. Once the caterpillar gets it's food a bird will eat it and gets it's energy and the process goes on.
Chlorophyll found in the organelle called chloroplasts which are specific to producers(living things that make their own energy or "food").
Because animals are able to go and get food from their surroundings unlike plants. Plants need photosynthesis because they aren't able to hunt food from around them or use their prey as food like us humans and animals.
Chlorophyll
I think all living plants contain chlorophyll as they need them to photosynthise to provide energy and food for themselves. Not all living plants contain chlorophyll but papaya & tomato plants certainly contain chlorophyll.
Plants have chlorophyll that absorbs light in energy. We don't have that chlorophyll. Also plants Producers. Animals are consumers.
To be able to photosynthesise
Yes.
Chlorophyll
CHLOROPHYLL
For chlorophyll to exist in plants, they must have certain pigments that are responsible for its production. Additionally, plants must have organelles called chloroplasts where chlorophyll is located. Finally, plants need to carry out the process of photosynthesis to produce chlorophyll.
chlorophyll is the primary pigment. It is much needed for photosynthesis.
Plants need magnesium and nitrogen to make chlorophyll. Magnesium is a central component in the chlorophyll molecule, while nitrogen is essential for overall plant growth and function.
yes they do.They need it to make food
