In the scientific community, knowledge is not considered static. Our understanding of how life works changes with new knowledge. Hypothesies are ideas about how something works (to be a true scientific hypothesis, it must be able to both be proven and disproven) and almost always change rapidly with new experimental data. A theory is a hypothesis that is well-proven, backed by very many different experiments. A law is a theory that has been in effect for a looong time, and still holds up to evidence. So, as new scientific evidence comes into human knowledge which counteracts a given law, theory, or hypothesis, scientists rethink and go back to more experiments. They'll examine the perameters and room for errors (example: prior to the 2012 phenomenon, particles were found to go faster than the previously-veiwed fastest speed available, the speed of light, but the evidence was disregarded due to large margin for errors granted by machinery). Hypothesies are always changing, but theories and laws rarely are disproved, and, when they are, MUCH effort goes into making sure everything is legitimate

Can models be changed after they are created?

Yes, they certainly can. Modification of intellectual models in the light of new evidence is one of the cornerstones of the scientific process.

They use computer models to show how this new evidence supports formation of a supercontinent long before Pangea.

Explain why diffusion is evidence for particle models?

Diffusion is evidence for particle models because it causes diffusions

How does a scientific theory change?

Scientist are always testing their models to get new information or results, but other times learning evidence makes scientist have to change their models so scientist can change their models in theory.

What is the main criterion by which scientist judge the usefulness of a model?

The usefulness of a model is based on the models ability to explain a set of facts. In light of new evidence and new facts within the models reported domain, if it can continue to explain these new facts, its robustness lends even more to its 'usefulness'.

How do you prove perjury in West Virginia?

The same as you do anywhere else. You must present evidence or proof that refutes the perjured item, or testimony. If the perjury affected the outcome of a judicial action, you will have to file a motion to re-open the case based on new evidence.
