One main way that the economy would benefit, is that if less time was spent in the sun by people, then less people would be getting skin cancer. This would mean that the levels of skin cancer would drop and the hospitals would need less amounts of treatment chemicals. This obviously means that the government's money would go up and more development could be done in the country with the extra money. It could even mean that there was more money spent on developing cures to other diseases, such as breast cancer. Maybe, with these new cures in place taxes would go down, who knows. Another thing, is that if chemicals were being imported, then there would be less damage to the environment as we wouldn't need to import it anymore and then again, more money for the government to sort out this stupid credit crunch!!
