Your bone marrow has got the blood supply of it's own. Red blood cells are formed from the precursor cells, under hormonal stimulation. The previous stages are not released in the blood stream. They are probably attached to the marrow tissue. Pre-erythrocyte stage is having a nucleus and at times is released in the blood stream. So red blood cells are free and mobile. So they are released in the blood stream.
