Use a product called Goof-off or Deep Woods Off (insect repellant) to remove it.
Scrape it off with a chisel or sharp craft knife. Remove residue with Goof -Off.
Rub it with a rough rag dipped in Goof Off, it will soon soften enough to peel it off.
Goof Off will remove almost any glue, including super glue types from laminate and hardwood flooring. Just rub with a rag and a few drops of Goof Off and the glue soon softens and can be peeled off. This has not harmed 3 different types of flooring that I've tested it on.
The word goof means something funny. It could also be used as saying someone is been silly.
Goof Off will remove that.
Goof Off would be good for that
Goof Off will do this.
Rub it with a rough rag and Goof Off, it will soften enough to be peeled off.
Soften it with Goof Off, then scrape it with a wood spatula.
Try rubbing with Goof Off, it removes many glues.
You will have to use a solvent. Try Goof-Off, the water based type might work and will do the least damage to the vinyl trim. All harsh solvents will damage vinyl.
Heat them with a hot air gun or hairdryer, then gently peel off with a plastic spatula. Remove the residue with Goof Off.
Rub it with a rag dipped in Goof Off, then try sliding a craft knife blade under it.
You can try Goof-Off, but be careful...it can seep through the fabric and dissolve the glue holding nearby patches in place.
Goof Off is excellent for this use. After removing it wash the clothing in warm water to get rid of the odour.
When building with steel roofing/siding, a soft washer screw or nail is used to fasten the steel to the purlins. A 'goof scrrew' is used when the installer misses the purlin with the original screw, a 'stitch' and 'goof screw' are then used to replace the smaller, missed screw, thereby sealing the hole.
