How does science help common people?

All the time, everything you see around you is thanks to science. Without science people would still live in trees gnawing on sticks.

As science improves, the idea is that people will have to work less and less, for example, now a days, farms require very little maintenance, where as in the past tens or even hundreds of people had to manage an entire farm.

Everything we rely on in our daily lives if based in some sort of science. Your car (chemistry, physics) have engineers designing them using principles of energy, kinematics, chemical reactions, heat transfer, and a million other topics most people ignored in high school.

They guy who built your F150, or Ram (we won't mention Chevy for the obvious reason that they are designed and built by monkeys) is the guy who had people putting pudding in his hair, and shaved off his eye brows at band camp... Just keep that in mind.
