Rosalind Franklin was a member of the Watson - Crick - Wilkins (and others) team working on DNA. It was her crystallography records that were used to develop and prove the dual-helix structure.
However she died before the Nobel award was made, and their rules forbid awards given posthumously.
You'll find an article on her in wikipedia.org
The media does not make positive contribution to public science. The only positive contribution to science is the Nova channel, Discovery channel, PBS, and science educational programs. The media does not talk about science because news caste anchors are not scientists. And scientists are not new caste anchors. Do not confuse the two as being the same art. News caste anchors only regurgitate news with no aspirations of science and it's wonderful discoveries. On the flip side of this topic, when discoveries are made they do talk about them very briefly because discoveries take time to be discovered.Maybe you should be a news caste anchor scientists. That way you could be passionate about discoveriesA2. The above material is very true, but the answer is in the hands of the scientists. In my local newspaper, there would be less than 1/4 page of science information from contributors each week. Compared with a couple of pages of arts, a dozen pages of sports, 4 pages of horse racing, and so on.From personal experience I know that the editors will do their best to publish any material they receive. The fault lies with the science folk failing to contribute.Scientists are ill educated in methods of communication, particularly those of the 'media'.
A thermometer is used to find the temperature of something, being used in science or not.

The science of taxonomy is the science of naming and classifying organisms. As long as new organisms are being discovered, there will always be a need for taxonomy.
There are three, the primary being physics, as it is at the basis of all science, then chemistry, which links into biology!
yes
it is the contribution of human being.
LaVoisier made many major contributions to chemistry, one of them being that oxygen was necessary for combustion.
In Watson's book, Rosalind Franklin was depicted as a talented X-ray crystallographer who made significant contributions to the discovery of the structure of DNA. However, she was often marginalized and her contributions were not fully recognized at the time. Watson's portrayal of Franklin has been criticized for being dismissive and reinforcing gender biases in science.
The Romans did not have much of an approach to science. In fact, were not interested in science and they hardly gave a contribution to science. Pretty much all of the science legacy from antiquity is from the Greeks. With regard to technology, the Romans were good engineers. This came from their being very practical and their penchant for finding solutions for practical problems.
his job was first being a lawyer then house of representatives then a senator finally he resigned then ran for president.
something Its biggest contribution was to encourage learning and academic discourse after centuries of these being stifled or neglected. Without these nothing can progress in science or engineering. (I abjure as meaningless the word "technology", whereas Engineering, in any of its disciplines, is the application of Science to practical ends).

Romeo describes Rosalind as the moon in Act 2, Scene 2 of William Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet." In this famous balcony scene, Romeo compares Rosalind's beauty to the moon, saying "It is the east, and Rosalind is the sun." This metaphor emphasizes Rosalind's radiant beauty and highlights Romeo's infatuation with her. The moon symbolizes Rosalind's purity and ethereal presence in Romeo's eyes.
In Shakespeare's "As You Like It," Rosalind pardons Orlando's appearance because she values his character and the depth of his feelings for her over superficial judgments. Despite his disheveled state after being forced to flee, she recognizes his noble qualities and the sincerity of his love. This moment highlights Rosalind's intelligence and emotional insight, as she sees beyond appearances to the true essence of the person she loves.
