only one... but there are difrent shapes...
there are ring magnets, bar magnets, horseshoe magnets, U-shaped magnets, button magnets and more.
They are pretty much all the same. (except electromagnets) The most popular shapes are horseshoe and bar magnets.
Horse Shoe Magnet, Bar Magnet & circular magnet.
No records- the number would be in the trillions or higher.
its unknown, hundreds, no one has discovered ever type of magnet yet. but they are used in every Day life
Primarily nickel, iron, and cobalt.
The main types of magnets areBar MagnetHorseshoe MagnetCylindrical MagnetBall-ended MagnetThese are the main types . There are many more types .
My answer id they have different shapes and colors.
There are 9 different kinds of wax. I can't name them all but i know there are 9 kinds
magnets make the radishes grow larger. i noticed that the magnets also made the radishes produce more leaves.
Both artificial and natural magnets.
other magnets
You could glue them on with many kinds of silicon glue.
Primarily nickel, iron, and cobalt.
If the other material is magnetized, then yes.
Ferro-magnets, permanent magnets, temporary magnets, and electromagnets. Ferro-magnets are magnets that are magnetic at a higher temperature than room temperature. do not quote me on that. permanent magnets are magnets that are always magnets, they are the kinds you use a lot. Temporary magnets are things that are magnetic in an extrenal magnetic field. Last but not least, electromagnets. Electromagnets are coils of wire around a cobalt, nickel, or iron. When ou run electricity through the wire, the core and wire become magnetic.
I don't know of any websites that appraise magnets, you could try to take them to an antique store. The best bet would be to list them on ebay with a reserve price and see what you can get for them.
Magnets are used in motors to create motion. Magnets have two kinds of polarity, positive (north) and negative (south). When two magnets of the same polarity are facing each other, they will be attracted to each other. Conversely, if the polarity of the the two magnets are opposites than they two magnets will be repulsed. This concept of rotational motion is what is occurring in a motor.

Because they are magnets and electronics stick to magnets
there are many different kinds of alarms, but a very common household alarm is wirelessly connected to a computer. On a door, two magnets that when pulled away send a signal wirelessly to the computer.
Magnets can be made from many different metals so there is no specific atomic mass.
