mixture
In science, there are three types of mixtures. These mixture types are, suspension mixture, colloidal mixture and a solution.
It is a mixture. Vinegar itself is a mixture of water and acetic acid with traces of other compounds that give it the flavor. Salt is another compound that will also go into solution in the water (vinegar is about >90% water). So you have quite a complex mixture of a minimum 3 different compounds.
Matter can be classified into 3 categories: 1.Solid 2.Liquid 3.Gas
Assuming that the density of the solution in 1 gdm-3 : 1 litre = 1dm3= 1 kg = 1000g
3 oil changes 1000 miles a month equates to 12 000 miles a year. 12 000 miles divided by 4 000 miles equals 3. Therefore 3 oil changes need to be made.
1- An element: Gold (Au) is an example of an element with a unique set of properties and consisting of only one type of atom. 2- A mixture: Trail mix is an example of a mixture, which is a combination of different nuts, seeds, and dried fruits. 3- A solution: Saltwater is an example of a solution, where salt (solute) is dissolved in water (solvent) to form a homogeneous mixture.
3 quarts oil, 1 quart gas
In science, there are three types of mixtures. These mixture types are, suspension mixture, colloidal mixture and a solution.
1. A pure substance can not be separated farther since it is composed of one type of atom. 2. I can't define mechanical mixture... Check your text book 3. A solution is one or more substances. I can: As she said a pure substance has only one type of particle. A solution is MORE then one substance. But in a solution u can't see the different parts. In a mechanical mixture, there is more then one particle like in a solution, but u can see the different particles.
It is 50 to one or one quart of oil to 6.gal ore one half quart of oil to 3. Gal of gas..
Mixture of 1 part HNO3 + 3 parts HCl in concentrated aquous solution
The oil become colored.
The three basic types of mixtures in Chemistry are suspension mixture, colloidal mixture and solution.
This is the procedure:1. Strongly shake the mixture.2. Filter the mixture.3. Sand and ad iron remain on the filter.4. Extract iron with a magnet.5. Leave the filtrate for decantation.6. Separe oil with a separation funnel.7. Heat the solution.8. Water is vaporized.9. Salt remain as crystals.
The difference between a mixture and a solution is that a mixture is two or more substances mixed together but not necessarily completely dissolved into one another. While a solution is when something is completely dissolved into a liquid
To achieve a 40 to 1 fuel mixture, you would add 3.2 ounces of oil to one gallon of gas. This means for every 40 parts of gas, you add 1 part of oil.
3:1 extra oil is good for engine
