An alloy is a solid mixture of elements, dominated by metals. Helium is a single element and thus not a mixture. It is also not a metal. Therefore helium is not an alloy.

Who was helium discovered by?

In 1868 Jules Janssen and Norman Lockyear discovered spectral lines of an unknown element in Sun - the element was named helium. In 1895 Per Teodor Cleve and Nils Abraham Langled discovered helium in an uranium mineral.

Who discovored helium?

Discovered: Pierre Janssen first obtained evidence of the existence of helium during the solar eclipse of 1868 when he detected an unknown yellow line in the solar spectrum signature. Norman Lockyer and Edward Frankland later confirmed his observations and named the new element helium from the Greek word 'helios', meaning the sun. William Ramsay was first to isolate helium on Earth in 1895 by treating the uranium mineral cleveite with mineral acids.

How do you mine and process helium 3?

How do you mine helium3? well that's easy. We can mine helium 3 from the moon by just using a shovel. All you have to do is shovel it up from the moon's surfacec, and then bake to aprox. 600 degress C. The He-3 will come out and miners will have to isolate the gas and you will have He-3 to use. Now to keep it, it just has to be stored in tanks at sub zero temperatures.

Are there minerals in space?

Yes, Helium-3 resources can be found on the Moon. Outer space has extremely rich mineral resources, especially in the form of nickel and iron from iron-nickel asteroids.
