Electromagnetic Waves
Answer - meters or derivations of meters e.g micrometers, nanometers etc
The color of the wavelength lambda = 685 nanometers is "deep red". The wavelength lambda = 685 nanometers equals the frequency f = 503,852,870,588,235 Hz. 1 nanometer = 1×10−9 meter. 685 nm = 0.000000685 meters. Scroll down to related links and look at "Radio and light waves in a vacuum".
1 yard = 3 feet 1 foot = 0.3048 meter 500 yards = 500 x 3 x 0.3048 meters = 500 x 0.9148 meters =457.4000 meters Difference between 400 meters and 500 yards = 57.4 meters 400 meters is less than 500 yards by 57.4 meters
The gravitational force between the two objects is 59.31 Newtons.
We can measure how long things are , how tall,or how far apaart they are .Those are examples of length meaasurements. The basic unit of length is meters.
It is 0.000000003 metres (3 billionths of a metre).
Electromagnetic radiation in the wavelengths between a few hundred meters to a few millimeters.
7 millionths of a meter
100times dookie
Green wavelengths are absorbed at a depth of 250 meters, leaving only blue wavelengths. This deeper penetration is what causes the oceans to appear blue!
No. Your cellphone, many TV stations, and the GPS satellites transmit wavelengths shorter than 1 meter. X-rays have wavelengths between 0.00000000001 and 0.00000001 meter. (1/100th of a nanometer to 10 nanometers)
To convert nanometers to meters, divide by a billion.
0.1 micron = 10-7 metres or one ten millionths of a metre.
about 3 meters depending on how load the radeo is.
There are seven electromagnetic waves; radio waves, microwaves, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, X rays, and gamma rays. Radio waves are transmitted through radios (duh) and TVs. They have wavelengths greater than 0.001 meters. Cell phones use microwaves, which have wavelengths between 0.3 and 0.001 meters. Infrared waves come from (not so sure about this one) light bulbs and have wavelengths between 0.001 meters and 700 nanometers. Visible light (don't know exactly where it comes from, sorry) have wavelengths between 700 and 400 nanometers. Ultraviolet waves cause sunburn and have wavelengths between 400 and 10 nanometers. You should know where X rays come from and they have wavelengths between 10 and 0.01 nanometers. (Sorry for not including Gamma rays, I didn't have enough information on them). You can choose two of these seven and add the information if you want.
A sound spectrogram measures the frequency and wavelengths of sound waves. The frequency is measured in Hertz and the wavelengths are measured in meters.
There is some confusion here. Wavelengths are measured in units of length, such as meters, kilometers, nanometers, etc. Frequency is measured in hertz.
