Three examples of stimuli that humans can respond to include light, sound, and temperature. Light can trigger visual responses, such as adjusting pupils or perceiving colors. Sound can elicit reactions like turning toward a noise or responding to spoken words. Temperature changes can prompt physiological responses, such as sweating in heat or shivering in cold.
A stimulus is a DETECTECTABLE change in the environment. e.g. light is a stimulus to an animal or plant if it can detect the light with a sensing eye or chemical
stimulus: spilling water on yourself response: jumping up out or your chair in shock
Stimulus?
Stimulus refers to any event or object that can provoke a response from an organism. Three examples include: 1) Light, which can influence plant growth and animal behaviors; 2) Sound, which can elicit responses in animals, such as a dog reacting to a whistle; and 3) Chemicals, like pheromones, that can trigger specific behaviors in insects or mammals. Each of these stimuli can lead to various physiological or behavioral responses.
The difference between an external stimulus and an internal stimulus is that an external stimulus is a stimulus that comes from outside an organism. But an internal stumulus is a stimulus that comes from inside an organism. An example for an external stimulus can be that when you are cold, you put on a jacket. An example for an internal stimulus is that when you feel hungry, you eat food.

A response is always triggered by a stimulus. One example is in a neuron (nerve cell). Once a sensory stimulus is witnessed (a stimulus from one of the 5 senses), the cell hits an action potential, and the response is carried out. Simply put: A human eye is closed. Once the eye opens thousands of sensors in the eye pick up the photons bouncing off all objects (stimulus), and the human is able to see (response).
Effector organ is a part of the body that responds to a stimulus and a stimulus is a change in the environment that is detected by a receptor. And is a receptor is a nerve cell that detects a stimulus.

The stimulus that you would use to study nerve physiology would be internal and external stimulus to the body. The study of the nervous system would help in analyzing the human anatomy.
