Firstly, any form of radiation is harmful to the body because it causes cellular aberrations and genetic mutations which may ultimately lead to cancer. As for sun radiation, so long as you don't get yourself too overexposed there's really nothing to worry about. in fact the sun is helpful in the activation of vitamin D. just a tip, the best time to go out for a little sun would be early in the morning and later in the afternoon. However, staying in the sun for too long over the years without wearing a hat, suncreen, sunglasses, protective clothing or staying in the shade can increase your risk of getting skin cancer.

first its dangerous because if you tough it with a bare hand you can get "leukaemia" (cancer of the white blood cells)

and the good thing is that we have radiation in smoke alarms and that does not harm us and if it did i think i would rather have radiation in my smoke alarm then burn to death without one :) x
