Well I'm guessing I'm to late, but baking soda volcanoes are great or you could go to youtube and look up home made science fair projects.
There are many plants that are used for science projects. Some projects test how well plants grow with direct sunlight as opposed to no sunlight. Some projects try to determine whether music will help plants to grow. Other projects test growing plants at different temperatures. These projects can be found at http:www.terimore.com.
