Believe it or not this used to be a common practice to stop badly smoking engines from smoking.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!
Years ago when VW Bug's were plentiful auto car lots used to pour powdered Ajax in the carburetor while revving the engine. It would stop the smoking of the engine and would restore the compression and give life back to the engine that was otherwise past it's usefulness.
It appears that the pistons and walls in the engine were scuffed up enough that they could re-seat and 'sand off' any buildup of carbon from years of burning oil because of bad maintenance or excessive miles.
All I can say is Wow!
When you poor water into a jar full of marbles, the water will fill the spaces between the marbles; bubbles will also appear.
Pour liquid on it (such as water).
Liquids. They will take the shape of whatever you pour them into. As opposed to solids. Hard to pour a brick into anything.
A liquid. You can pour it onto your salad.
Put simply - yes. Some strictly aerobic organisms will not grow in a pour plate. They may, however proliferate on a streak plate. Also consider the posibility of experimental error. The culture may have been added to the molten agar when it was too hot for the organisms to survive.
you have a big problem
Comet, ajax, and soft scrub. Wet sink sprinkle ajax or pour soft scrub, then scrub with abrasive side of sponge.
Either the engine has to come out, or the transmission. But make darn sure that it isn't the cork intake gasket on the back of the intake that has deteriorated, cracked up, and fallen into the engine. Oil will just pour out of the back from there.
It would probably steam. Since most of the engine's mechanisms are internal, it probably wouldn't cool it down all that much.
they stay there
A hole.
First DON'T START THE ENGINE If you start the engine the antifreeze will be in the oil filter also Drain the oil out of the oil pan Take some new oil and pour it into the engine a few times and just let it drain out of the engine oil pan Replace the engine oil pan drain plug and then put the proper type of engine oil in ( less the amount the engine oil filter holds ) If you haven't started the engine you should be okay
