RAD is a charity. I cant remember the name, but it is about HIV and AIDS. Many people are predujist against HIV sufferers because they think it is easily passed between two people. This is not true. There are only 3 ways in which to receive HIV or AIDs, one is to have it sexually transmitted, another is if a mother passes the illeness to her baby because of breast feeding, and the last is sharing needles (drus) with a sufferer.

I hope I've helped.

REEMEMBER, get checked out, only YOU can stop it.

THANKS

What does rad stand for in radiation measurement?

It doesn't "stand" for anything*rad stands for 'radiation absorbed dose'* The rad is an obsolete unit of measure. It is not an abbreviation.According to Anwers.com, it is a "unit of energy absorbed from ionizing radiation, equal to 100 ergs per gram or 0.01 joules per kilogram of irradiated material. It has been replaced as a standard scientific unit by the gray."The gray is the official SI unit equal to one joule per kilogram.

What happen if you dont use thermostat?

Water will flow too quickly through rad for it to do it's job.

A wheel of point 6 m in diameter is rotating at 100 rad per sec The wheel then decelerates uniformly from 100 rad per sec to 50 rad per sec in 50 revolutions Determine the rate of angular acceleration?

Angular acceleration is got by the expression alpha = {(final angular velocity)2 - (initial ang velocity)2} / 2 theta. final is 50 and initial is 100 rad/s. Theta is 50 x 2pi radian Therefore required alpha = -50 x 150/200 pi = -75/2pi radian/s2 Negative sign indicates that the rotation is decelrated.

What is the angular acceleration of the minute hand of a clock?

The hands of a clock move at a constant speed, not slowing or speeding up. Therefore, the acceleration is a constant 0 rad/s2

What Calculate the brake power of an engine producing 1150lb-ft of torque at the flywheel when it is turning at 2000 rpm?

Convert 1150lb-ft to 1157.42Nm and 2000rpm to 209.439 rad/s Brake power= Torque x rotational speed= 242409 W
