solar flare
Its called Altitude.
A temperature of 25 C is quite moderate, just a few degrees above normal room temperature.
This is called a solar prominence when viewed on the suns limb or a solar filament when viewed with the solar disk behind it (when it will appear darker than the disk). Filaments/ prominences are formed in magnetic loops that hold relatively cool, dense gas suspended above the surface of the Sun.
Low Earth Orbit, such as the International Space Station. The Ionosphere is also in this range, though it extends both up and down. The same can be said for magnetosphere, all of which vary in altitude based on time of year and position over Earth, and the Exosphere (outer space), the base of which is can vary from 450km to 700km.

The lowest layer of the sun"s atmosphere and the layer from which light is given off is the photosphere. It is also called the surface of the sun.Its temperature is about 6,000k.Above the photosphere is the chromosphere. Its layer extends upward about 2,000 km above the photosphere. by:Marina Tamang of I.S125.
On a star, the chromosphere is the next layer above the photosphere.
the gases of the sun extend far beyond the photosphere, which may be considered the lowest level of the solar atmosphere. The region immediatly above the photosphere is called the chromosphere.
